2. Complete Your Profile (Optional)
We recommend adding a few basic details to your profile, such as your gender, your profession, languages you speak, and a short bio.

Your profile includes optional details to enhance your experience on Planmio. Your information stays private and is not visible to other users. Your phone number is never displayed unless you are hosting an event, where it may appear in the event details you create.
Manage Role:
Use this option to apply for a host role, allowing you to create and manage events on Planmio.
Delete Account:
We believe that being able to delete your account is a basic right. That’s why we’ve made the process simple, fast, and transparent. If you don’t plan to use Planmio for a while, you can also use Incognito Mode (see Settings) to pause all emails and notifications.
Deleting your account will permanently remove your profile and personal data from Planmio.
You will no longer receive any emails or notifications.
Your name may still appear in past events you joined, only within those specific event participant lists.
3. Customize Your Settings (Optional)
Settings help you personalize how Planmio works for you – from notifications to your overall experience.
They only affect how you use the platform and are not shared with others.

Notifications
- Email notifications for new events: Get notified when new events are published.
- Email notifications when event details change: Receive updates when event details are modified.
- Email reminders on event day: Get a reminder on the day of the event.
- Receive emails from Planmio: Receive general updates and important information from Planmio.
Privacy
- Receive emails from members: Allow other members to contact you via email.
- Incognito mode (Pause all emails): Temporarily stop all emails and notifications.
Preferences
- Show advanced filters by default: Automatically display advanced filters when browsing events.
- Enabled event types: Choose which types of events you want to see.
- Preferred event category: Select the categories of events you are most interested in.
- Preferred event vibe: Choose the atmosphere you prefer (younger or more mature).
- Preferred event size: Select whether you prefer small or large group events.
- Preferred event cost: Choose whether you prefer free events, paid events, or both.
4. Explore Events
Discovering events and joining them is quick and easy.
On the main page and switch between Cards view and List view. List view is ideal for quickly scanning many events. You can expand or collapse each event individually, making it easy to move between a compact overview and a more detailed view.

Event Card Details
- Event type: Indicates the type of event (e.g., Regular Event, Workshop, Top Event).
- Category: Shows what the event is about (e.g., Dining, Activities, Networking).
- Countdown: Displays how much time is left until the event starts.
- Participants: Shows how many people have joined the event.
- Event title or image: Opens the full event page with all details
- More Details (highlighted in red): Expands a quick preview with key information directly on the card.
- Date: Adds the event to your calendar.
- Location (Map): Opens the location in maps.
- Send to a friend: Share the event with someone.
- Join button: Lets you join the event instantly.
Top (Official) events appear highlighted (with a gold border), indicating they are the official events of the platform.
5. Event Types & Categories
Planmio offers different types of events and categories to help you find what suits you best.

- Top (Official) Events: Highlighted events organized by verified Planmio Top Hosts.
Event Categories
Events are grouped into categories such as:
- Dining (restaurants, wine tasting, cafes).
- Nightlife (bars, lounges, social spots).
- Activities (sports, travel, hiking, adventures).
- Networking (business, meetups).
- Culture (movies, shows, concerts, theater, museums).
Understanding event types and categories helps you quickly find events that match your interests and helps organizers create more relevant events.
6. Use Filters
Use filters to quickly find events that match what you’re looking for.
The first set of filters focuses on time, while the second set includes advanced filters for more specific and targeted results.

Quickly browse events by time, such as:
- Today
- Tomorrow
- This weekend
This helps you find events happening soon.
Advanced Filters (Second Row)
Use advanced filters for more precise results:
- Event category
- Event type
Click “More” to access additional filtering options like:
- Free or paid events
- Group size
- Available spots (how many places are still open for the event)
You can show or hide the Advanced Filters row at any time, and also set it as your default in Settings.
7. User Menu
Click on your profile (top right corner) to open the user menu.
From here, you have quick access to your personal area, including your profile, settings, and the events you’ve joined – including past events you participated in.

- My Events: View events you’ve joined or created.

- Contact Support: Reach out for help.
- Logout: Sign out of your account.
8. Add Planmio to Your Home Screen
You can add Planmio to your device for quick access – just like an app. Adding Planmio to your home screen makes it faster to access and feel more like a native app. This is especially useful if you plan to use the platform regularly. Once added, you can open Planmio directly from your home screen or dock anytime.
