What event types are available on Planmio?
Planmio currently offers 3 different event types:
Regular Events → casual community events organized by Hosts, such as dinners, coffee meetups, walks, social gatherings, trips, etc.
Special Events → events organized by Pro Hosts that may include an optional host fee, for example workshops, performances by the host, guided activities, etc.
Top Events → official featured events on Planmio, organized by Top Hosts. These are larger community events that may include a host fee and sometimes offer additional benefits such as drinks or giveaways.
How do I join an event?
- Browse events on the home page.
- Use filters (category, day, etc.) to find events you like.
- Click “More details” to view additional event information before joining. Some events are free, while others may include a host fee or external cost.
- For more info, click the event title to open the event page, read the full details, and see the participants list.
- Click “Join” on an event.
What can I do after joining an event?
- Find the event anytime in the “My Events” page from your profile menu.
- Click the event date to add the event to your calendar.
- Click “Share” to send the event to friends.
- Click the map link to view the event location on Google Maps.
- You can leave the event at any time by clicking “Cancel” on the event card.
How do event costs work?
Event costs may vary depending on the type of event. Some events are completely free to join, while others may include a host fee paid directly to the organizer or external costs such as tickets, entrance fees, or activities.
The cost (if any) is always clearly shown on the event page, along with payment details and instructions provided by the event organizer.
You only pay if you decide to join the event, and there are no hidden fees on the platform.
What role types are available on Planmio?
Planmio currently offers 4 different user roles:
Member → can join events and interact with the community, but cannot organize events.
Host → can create and manage Regular Events.
Pro Host → can create Special Events and Regular Events.
Top Host → can create Top Events (official featured events on the platform), as well as Special Events and Regular Events.
How can I become an event host?
You can submit a request to become an event host from your profile menu by selecting “Become a Host”.
Please note that this is a host request only — all requests are reviewed manually by Planmio and must be approved before you can start creating events.

What membership types are available on Planmio?
Planmio currently offers 2 membership types:
- Free Membership → gives full access to the Planmio community and allows users to join all event types. For events that include a host fee, members may receive better prices compared to non-member guests.
- Plus Membership → a premium membership currently available for Hosts only. Plus members can receive additional discounts for paid events that include a host fee, such as Special Events and Top Events.
How do I add the app to my home screen?
You can add the platform to your phone’s home screen so it works like an app and allows quick access.
On iPhone (Safari):
- Open the website in Safari.
- Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow).
- Select “Add to Home Screen”.
- Tap Add.
On Android (Chrome):
- Open the website in Chrome.
- Tap the menu (three dots in the top right corner).
- Select “Add to Home screen”.
- Tap Add.
How can I stop receiving notifications from Planmio?
- Open your profile menu.
- Go to “Account”.
- Open “Settings”.
- Enable “Incognito Mode”.
- While Incognito Mode is enabled, you will not receive email notifications from Planmio, including new event notifications, event updates, and system notifications.
